INTERFAITH WISDOM CIRCLE LAUNCHES

One of the joys of my life is to find myself in community with diverse spiritual companions on the pilgrim way.

A new possibility to share the journey came to me when I was in Japan last May for the launch of the Fuji Declaration and to share in the Symphony of Peace Prayers.

Also there was a dear friend, Nipun Mehta, founder of one Service Space, one of the most spiritually grounded, engaged global virtual communities I'm aware of. On a train ride from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji, Nipun asked me if I would consider being a co-convenor of a virtual Interfaith Wisdom Circle.

I said, Of course.

Not long after I was back home, I was on a Zoom conference with Nipun and Aryae Coopersmith, founder of OWL (One World Lights), and we were underway.

The inaugural convening of the Interfaith Wisdom Circle took place on 23 August 2015. I shared and offered some reflections on Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan, and a rich conversation flowed from there.

I encourage you to check out the video of this inaugural meeting of the Interfaith Wisdom Circle.
